Danny Gibson Featured at ABC COnvention Panel: Leading a Safety-Centric Organization

The Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) Convention 2022 in San Antonio, Texas, featured MetroPower’s Danny Gibson as one of four panelists on the featured educational session: Leading A Safety-Centric Organization. The focus: how your company could be 645% safer than the industry average and thereby bringing about a reduction in total recordable incident rates by 75%. The panel exemplified how it is not only possible, but doable, based on ABC’s 2022 Safety Performance Report data. These insights were presented by member contractors who made up ABC’s Top Performer’s list: Danny Gibson of MetroPower, Inc., Michael Bennett of The Cianbro Companies, John Hinson of Marek Brothers Systems, Inc., and Stephanie Schmidt of Pool Anderson Construction. Each told how they accomplished these low or no recordables and set new parameters in safety within their organizations. Companies were encouraged to use this information to jumpstart their organizations on a pathway to improving and sustaining world-class safety.
