PROJECT : Jack Hughston Memorial
Phenix City, AL

ESS has been working on a nurse call upgrade for Jack Hughston Memorial including the ED, ICU, Outpatient Surgery, and Fourth Floor Medical Surgery. The Rauland Borg Responder V and a Versus RTLS clinical staff location system is being installed on all floors, and touchscreen staff terminals are being installed in some patient rooms.

Our team is working diligently with the hospital’s IT department and a third party clinical consulting firm, Peak Outcomes, to design and install a state of the art Responder Business Intelligence software package tailored to the needs of the hospital. This software, coupled with the staff terminals and Versus location system, will give clinical leaders the ability to identify key staffing needs for their nurses, dramatically increase rounding compliance, monitor staff time spent with patients, and reduce patient falls and hospital acquired infections.

PROJECT : Tallahassee Memorial Hospital: M.T. Mustian O.R. Tower
Tallahassee, FL

Tallahassee Memorial Hospital (TMH) is a long-term, end-user client of ESS for more than 20 years. We were awarded a single contract for all low-voltage systems for the tower by leveraging our long-term nurse call contacts with the hospital, and our relationship with Brassfield & Gorrie as a sole source, low-voltage systems provider in another hospital.
