MetroPower Plans for Significant Growth in Atlanta/North Georgia Market

The state of Georgia remains poised for substantial growth in the construction industry this year, and MetroPower is ready to capitalize on that momentum.

“We see tremendous opportunity to build on our expertise, and maximize effort, efficiency and effectiveness for current and potential clients,” said Steve Pacl, Vice President for MetroPower. “The state’s low taxes, business friendly environment, strong fiber backbone, global links to supply chains and population growth are appealing for business expansion and new construction. We want to be the leading electrical contractor serving this market.”

Atlanta’s major construction team (Branch 8) will continue to support the solar, commercial and industrial markets but is also going to expand within the mission critical, healthcare and water/wastewater markets. Atlanta’s service team (Branch 2) will continue to support our clients’ current electrical and low voltage needs while supporting the major construction team growth in new markets, but will also focus on expanding the low voltage market. Working closely with the ESS (Branch 18) team in Albany, we are working toward being able to offer a full service low voltage suite including fire alarm, paging, nurse call, intercom, access control, CCTV and A/V in this market.

Currently, MetroPower is exploring opportunities to relocate its Atlanta office sometime during the second or third quarter of this year. The new office will provide the space and resources necessary to provide Branch 2, Branch 8, MetroPower corporate and PPC team members the flexibility to grow as the market demands. We’re excited about the opportunities available to serve and grow in 2018, and we hope you are too!
