Steve Reynolds served as the superintendent for this project overseeing all aspects from concept to construction. Steve and his team managed modifications with ease while consistently working with a positive, realistic approach to getting the job done on schedule.

MetroPower is one of the only electrical contractors that have the expertise, certifications and equipment to provide the low voltage (<600VAC), medium voltage (12,470VAC), DC (600VDC), large battery array and extensive monitoring and controls (CAT6 and fiber optics) while also installing a lightning mast 15’ in the ground for a project of this magnitude – the largest battery storage in The Southern Company’s operating system.

The Cedartown Energy Storage Demonstration Project was certainly a complex, difficult and challenging project that required intense coordination, synergistic planning and determined execution. The finished product is a premier example of teamwork, craftsmanship and construction excellence.
