Outstanding Customers Recognized for PPM Achievements at the 25th Primavera Annual Conference in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, November
17, 2008 – Primavera
Systems, Inc., today announced the winners of the 2008
Primavera Excellence Awards, which were presented at
the 25th Primavera Annual Conference. The Primavera Excellence
Awards ceremony recognized customers that achieved outstanding
results in project, program, resource and portfolio management.
Each winner demonstrated clear benefits from one or more
business initiatives that involved the use of Primavera
software.
The judging panel focused on overall business
savings and improvements, and progress made in project
management maturity.

achieved outstanding results in project, program, portfolio

MetroPower, Inc. (Albany, GA) was
the winner of the Primavera Excellence Award
for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction
category.
In 2001, MetroPower, Inc. and
five of its employees began using Primavera Expedition
as its contract management tool in one branch of
the company. Now, MetroPower has approximately
500 employees in the company and has experienced
better than 12 percent annual growth in revenues
since 2001 while increasing profitability.
The
company now requires Contract Manager be used on
all projects within all branches of the company.
The Contract Manager program is now being used
to a fuller extent and capability within the company,
and is set up to correlate with Primavera P6 for
all scheduling projects.
