Project 2020: Path to Go Live

As the November 2 Go Live date comes into focus, we are working on four critical gates to prepare our companies for a successful launch.

In August, we tested the job rate management application that is used to process complex payroll. This confirms we can pay employees.

In September, the third round of Application Solution Testing will be complete. This is the final test to verify the accuracy of the system configuration to ensure transaction processing.

In October, we will begin user training beginning with SMEs and then rolling out to all employees. Training SMEs first will help us fine tune the training components and provide additional support for employees. We will use three formats for training: self-directed, online instruction and written instruction.

Finally, Customer Solution Testing will occur after the AS400 data is migrated to the new IFS system and we are able to confirm accurate processing with live data.

This is an exciting time for our companies and we are confident this effort will help us achieve operational excellence.
