Raul Juarez, Journeyman Electrician

Raul Juarez is the electrical lead person for Shaw Industry’s 80 Position Extrusion Equipment and South Tower in Andalusia, Alabama. As an apprentice with South Georgia Technical College, Raul maintained a 4.0 GPA for four years while also working for MetroPower and graduated at the top of his class.

“Raul’s work ethic, attitude and commitment to client satisfaction is noticed by coworkers and clients alike,” said Chris Scott, project manager. “It’s great to hear the head project engineer compliment Raul’s work, but it’s more rewarding to pass that praise onto him. He deserves it.”

As the electrical lead person, Raul and his team are responsible for setting all electrical equipment, running cable trays, conduits, control wiring and power for the five story extrusion tower. Currently, six machines have been completed. Each machine encompasses 3,000 control cables which contain two to 19 conductors in each cable and span four floors.

In addition to Raul’s work ethic, he adds incredible value as a bilingual employee. His ability to communicate with Spanish speaking employees is an asset to ensuring the fluidity and accuracy of the work. What’s more, he has been able to execute the work based on European schematics with very few errors.

Thank you for being an excellent representation of MetroPower.
