Three Employees Pass Georgia Electrical Contractor License Exam

MetroPower applauds three employees who recently passed the Georgia Electrical Contractor License exam: Michael B. Biehl, Spinks Holman and Jacob Keaton. What’s more, Mike B. Biehl is the third generation of Biehl’s to become a MetroPower employee and earn a Georgia Electrical Contractor License.

“I’m proud of these gentleman for their commitment to fulfill this professional and personal goal,” said Danny Gibson, president and COO. “I appreciate their dedication and valuable skill set, and I look forward to seeing what they will achieve next.”

In Georgia, possessing a non-restricted license gives the holder the legal right to install, maintain, alter or repair any electrical equipment, apparatus, control system or electrical wiring device which is attached to or incorporated into any building or structure including the bidding and contracting for such work.

The Georgia Secretary of State’s Office administers the comprehensive 8-hour exam consisting of 140 technical, business and law related questions about different facets of electrical contracting.
