Lagniappe: Tony Varamo

As Workforce Manager, Tony is often the first point of contact for those considering a career with MetroPower. And for many, he’s the reason they choose to join our company.

“Tony is the primary reason that I’m a MetroPower employee,” said James Davis, management trainee, branch 21. “In just a few conversations, his genuine nature and passion sold me on the company. He continues to encourage me to further my education, invest in myself and advance my career.”

Tony oversees our Apprentice and Management Trainee Programs, is heavily involved in field force recruiting and assists branch leadership in attracting trades people to MetroPower.

“His dedication to his work is evident in the care he demonstrates in every conversation,” said Edwin Garcia. “He is passionate about development and takes personal pride in identifying talent and bringing them to our company.”

“I appreciate that Tony is genuinely interested in me as a person, not just an employee,” said Tyler Cobb, management trainee, branch 08. “We talk weekly and I look forward to working more closely with him.”
