MetroPower Hires VP of Industrial Construction, Expands Management in Atlanta

Our company is constantly striving to exceed our goals by delivering the highest quality product from the most dedicated team of professionals. Recently, four new members joined our management team:

Todd Stevens, Vice President of Industrial Construction, David Moody, Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Manager, Lem Mathis, Senior Project Manager and Joe Carney, Project Manager.

Todd Stevens, Vice President of Industrial Construction

Todd will be supporting the Albany, Ga., Bainbridge, Ga. and Jacksonville, Fla. locations. Todd is a proven leader in quality control process establishment and employee skill development that result in high performance teams.  His experience includes engineering, construction, operations and business management throughout the southeastern region.

David Moody, Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Manager

As VDC Manager, David will help us identify, evaluate and implement industry technology with the ultimate goals of increasing our efficiency, effectiveness and delivering a better quality product to our clients. Initially, he will work with the Atlanta and Carolina offices to grow our capabilities in the VDC realm, including 3D modeling, Trimble Total Station and other innovative technologies. David holds a degree in architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Lem Mathis, Sr. Project Manager

As Senior Project Manager in Branch 08, Lem is instrumental in growing the Atlanta market and supporting the upper management team. He has over 20 years of experience as a project manager and contractor in all facets of the construction, electrical, instrumentation and telecommunications industry. He is licensed in 14 states and has managed installations and upgrades of all project sizes within the electrical construction market.

Joe Carney, Project Manager

Joe has been in the construction industry for 17 years, starting as a helper in the field and now as Project Manager overseeing multi-million dollar projects. He brings a vast understanding of commercial construction, including estimating and project management. He was instrumental in the new Atlanta office build out and is currently managing the mission critical renovation for Change Healthcare’s Data Center in Nashville, TN.
